The "mustard seed" at the center of the lotus is the bindu.

The bindu is considered the "dimensionless point of infinite potential from which originated all manifested existence." It could also be described as "the sacred symbol of the cosmos in its unmanifested state."

From the bindu chakra at the top back of the head drips the nectar of immortality symbolized by the white droplet at the center of the lotus.

The central petal of the lotus represents the sacred flame of our heart fire.

The initial design was focused on these three elements but blossomed naturally into a lotus, the symbol for enlightenment. The transmutation of darkness to light. The energetic aura of the lotus relates to "Shakti", the vibrating energy that animates life.
