Bhakti Practice: Hanuman Chalisa

Join Regan and her family for the singing of the Hanuman Chalisa – a 600-year old devotional chant practice performed daily in India.

If you already know it, come sing! If you don't know it, come learn! We'll give you the words and the translation (a really good copy from a Ram Dass retreat), and we'll sing a variety of versions with different styles and tempos. Maybe one version will speak to you!
Some spiritual teachers have said that even doing this practice just once can relieve suffering — or change destiny!

We'll have a small shrine set up, with some prasaad and chai!

You don't have to travel to India to connect with this tradition. Sometimes, you can find India (or the grace you are searching for) in your own heart!

$15 donation or Punch cards accepted.
